FPC defeated Springfield College Wednesday night 7-3. . . the win clinched an undefeated, untied run of the NECHA Western Conference for the first time in school history. . . Jamie Iannotti scored his 4th hat trick of the season, including a short-handed goal . . . Mike Lopes had his second consecutive 3 assist game . . . Ray Galli scored twice from the point . . . Casey Fahey scored a short-handed goal . . . Lopes had the other goal . . . Ryan O’Connor had 32 saves in net . . . Iannotti leads the team in scoring with 21 goals and 16 assists for 37 points . . . he is followed by Christian Glynn (15-20-35), Lopes (8-23-31), Anthony Barbara (7-15-22), Rich Gomes (12-9-21), and Hopkins (8-12-20) . . . FPC has scored on 21% of its power plays and has successfully killed 79% of its penalties . . . tonight’s opponent, Bryant recently defeated Daniel Webster (10-3) and Bridgewater State (6-4) . . . they have lost to WPI (7-1), Bates (5-3), and MIT (8-2) . . . this is the first meeting between FPC and Bryant this season . . . prior to tonight’s game FPC Alumni were honored at a reception at the Clubhouse at Grimshaw and an alumni game was played . . . Tim Lacroix’99 is still FPC all-time scoring leader with 84 goals 72 assists for 156 points . . . he is being pursued by current Raven Jamie Iannotti (65-72-137) . . . rounding out the Top Ten are 3) Keith Kraus ’97 (63-66-129), 4) Dennis Comeau ’96 (58-64-122), 5) Brian Schiffer ’93 (57-43-100), 6) Mike Lopes (32-65-97), 7) Steve Day ’96 (36-55-91), 8) Joe Lisio ’95 (35-46-81), 9) Frank Smith ’94 (27-45-72), 10) Casey Fahey (29-29-58) . . . this year’s captains, Anthony Barbara, Mike Lopes, and Jamie Iannotti, presented Coach McCormack with a plaque commemorating his 100th career victory against CCRI earlier this season at the reception . . . the national anthem will be sung by FPC Cheerleader Danielle Bayer . . . the Franklin Pierce College Hockey Team would like to thank Danielle and the other off-ice staff, Todd Wood, Jen Masnik, Lanaya Shuler, Jaclyn Smith for their help this season . . . a special thanks to Athletic Director Bruce Kirsch and Joanne Cote in the Athletic Department, Cindy Arman and Flo Russo in the Athletic Training Office, and Jim Fennell and Jorge Roche in the Sports Information Office.
